Owned and operated as a family run business, owners Rocky and Jimmy Rugari started the business in 1978 as Silver & Killicoat. It was originally located across the road from the Oberoy Hotel on O’Connell St, North Adelaide.

Owners - Rocky & Jimmy Rugari
Brothers Rocky and Jimmy Rugari are the heart and soul of the business. With decades of hands-on experience and a strong commitment to quality service, they've built a trusted name in automotive care. What began as a small service station and workshop in North Adelaide in 1978 has grown into a well-established operation on Gilbert Street, thanks to their tireless work ethic, passion for the industry, and dedication to their customers. Their values of honesty, reliability, and family continue to shape the business today.
Adam Rugari
Adam Rugari, Rocky’s son has been working as a mechanic in the business since the early 90s. Like his father, he too shares a passion for providing customers with a high level of satisfaction on all work completed at the workshop.
Renee & Bianca Rugari
Renee, Rocky’s daughter, and Bianca, Jimmy’s daughter, work together to manage the accounts, oversee office administration, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Not only are there several generations of the Rugari family at the business, there are also many loyal families that have been bringing their vehicles to Silvers for three and even four generations.
